The promenade around the marina has elegant, designer shops and restaurants that offer traditional Spanish and international cuisine. The promenade is also the place where the blue of the calm waters contrasts with the white of the surrounding buildings in a view that leaves you breathless. The centre of the town is the most important place in Marbella, a square which is reminiscent of its past and very lively.

The Moorish influence combined with the old style of the Andalusia province and the perfume of orange trees in the air, has made Marbella one of the most popular tourist resorts in the world. Falling in love with Marbella is not difficult.

Entertainment in Marbella

The nightlife is very active, especially in the summer. There are private parties for the very wealthy but numerous bars and pubs offer great entertainment for those on smaller budgets.

The centre of the town hosts a nice collection of summer terraces where international bands come to play adding to the atmosphere and guaranteeing everyone a marvellous, fun time.

The national and local fiestas in Marbella attract thousands of visitors every year, such as the February Carnival and the June Feria. It has often been said that the Spaniards are a nation of professional of party goers and nowhere is this more evident than the Marbella fiestas. Enjoy!
